President-Elect Martha Wittig will take office at the close of the annual business meeting at the 2012 Annual Conference. Albert Stallworth will remain on the Board as past-president for one year. Each District Representative serves for two years.
The Board of Directors governs MAAP and oversees the MACT (MS Addiction Counselor Training) program, various committees (education, conference, nominations, membership, legislative) and promotes joint membership in MAAP/NAADAC. The Board of Directors, through its District Representatives and committee members, conducts the Annual Conference and Annual Business Meeting.
